- Juuko was knocked down early in round three, but rose at the count of nine and the fight continued. Later in the round, a left hand from Santa Cruz knocked Juuko through the ropes and almost completely out of the ring. After Juuko had regained his feet and climbed back through the ropes, the referee decided to stop the bout.
