"Bob Baker, Pittsburgh heavyweight, spoiled Johnny Flynn's record as a spoiler last night with a knockout in 43 seconds of the 6th round. Baker kept his undefeated professional record intact, registering his 13th win and his 10th KO since deserting the amateur ranks. Baker actually paved the way for the victory in the 5th when he pummelled the Rochester giant against the ropes. Flynn opened cautiously with his usual cover-up style which made him a difficult target. The capacity crowd was surprised at the sudden ending and the shout "tanker" rose through the arena.
