Emanuel outboxed Lomski in the early rounds, before tiring in the later stages of the bout. Lomski arguably won his first round in the 6th, while the 7th was even. Lomski had a big edge in the 8th round, and took the 9th round as well. Though tired coming into the 10th round, Emanuel managed to hold Lomski even and perhaps salvage the referee's draw.
