"Veteran Mustafa Hamsho handed promising Bobby Czyz his first pro loss Saturday night, brawling his way to a unanimous decision in a 10 round middleweight bout. Hamsho's brawling, rough-and-tumble style proved too much to handle and he won the fight handily. Czyz alternated between a right-handed and left-handed style that confused Hamsho briefly in the first two rounds. But Hamsho began to assert himself in the 3rd round and swept the middle rounds. In the 10th, Czyz brought blood streaming down the left side of Hamsho's face but the Syrian brawler stormed back again to take command and win the round as Czyz appeared tired at the end." -United Press International
