Apparently Archie Moore fought both Professor Roy Shire and his 'brother' Ray Shire on this same event.

According to the newspaper account, Moore decisioned Roy Shire over three rounds, and tko'd Ray Shire in two rounds.

Allegedly, Moore would of won $10,000 if he was able to kayo both Shire brothers.

Unfortunately, he did not, and the Shire brothers collected the purse.

BoxRec will have to alter/change this on Moore's record.
