Obituary

Another sad news ... Former boxing great reputation and international Rezgui Guizani coach died a few months ago in Tunisia at the age of 80 years. Featuring rings in the 50s and 60, he faced the best European and world, like Aldo Pravisani, Guy Gracia, Fred Galiana, Kazuo Takayama ... boxer, tap dancer, restaurateur, fighting organizer, he rubbed shoulders with the cream of boxing world, including the legendary Muhammad Ali. He had been around the world and his life like a novel! A wayward strand, he loved the show and the beautiful boxing. Coach-class, near the boxers he has trained dozens of great French champions in the 70 to 90. The major Parisian theaters tore this exceptional trainer whose rich pugilistic experience on his face marked by hardship. I loved talking boxing with him. It was a great champion and a great man. One more will miss boxing. It is time for our federal body and the press make real homage to all those who have disappeared brightens the colors of the tricolor boxing worldwide. We must be grateful to the soldiers of the ring from North Africa who die too often in anonymity, insecurity and general indifference. Written by Nasser Negrouche.
