Harold E. Higginbotham, 73, of North Church Street, an employee for the Flagler County Road and Bridge Maintenance Department before his retirement, died Saturday at Memorial Hospital-Flagler, Bunnell.

Mr. Higginbotham was born in Sanford and was a lifelong resident of Bunnell. An Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and was a charter and life member of the Disabled American Veterans Post in Flagler Beach. He was also a member of the Community Baptist Church in Korona.
