Career Review

John Diehl was a veteran character actor in over 100 movies and television shows. He is perhaps best-known as the character of Larry Zito on the popular 1980s television series Miami Vice. While filming a Miami Vice episode related to boxing, Diehl got the "boxing bug" and decided to become a pro boxer. He trained at the 5th Street Gym on South Beach, Florida. His pro debut was attended by the entire cast of Miami Vice, including principle actors Don Johnson and Phillip Micheal Thomas.
