Marc Mero is best remembered as a popular professional wrestler known as Johnny B. Badd. However, previous to his professional wrestling career, Mero was a highly touted amateur boxer. At 26, Mero decided to drop any plans he had of a professional boxing career, and instead became a professional wrestler.
Mero's wrestling career lasted from 1991-2005. His wife Rena (Sable) Mero became a wrestling superstar, and he managed her career. After their divorce, he worked briefly as a taxi driver.
