According to his obituary in the May 10, 1966 Delaware County Daily Times (Chester, Pennsylvania) on Newspapers.com, Alfred Sipa, 78, died in the Wilmington Memorial Hospital in Wilmington (Delaware?) on Sunday (May 8, 1966). As Freddie Corbett, he fought as a lightweight and had about 50 bouts in Philadelphia, Wilmington and Baltimore during the early 1900s. Sipa also "operated a boxing club in Tinicum, Pennsylvania for a number of years." He was survived by his widow, the former Rose Marinelli; three daughters, one son and three grandchildren.
