Harry Campbell represented the United States at the 1960 Olympics, reaching the quarter-finals.
He was The Ring magazine's March 1961 "Lightweight Prospect of the Month."
He was managed by Bill Young.
Campbell died of injuries sustained in a May 15, 1961, 10 round decision loss to Al Medrano at Kezar Pavilion in San Francisco.
