In a photo of Journee sparring with the 5'11 1/2" Georges Carpentier it is plain that Journee is much larger than the Orchid Man.
According to Ring Magazine: April 1930, p. 56, Paul Journee (the former French heavyweight champion) had "discovered" (future world champion) Primo Carnera and owned a 25% cut, part of which he split with a Paris business man. "Still Paul's personal cut to date on Carnera's takings is about a quarter of a million francs."
