Esteve was another North African Jewish boxer per the Hank Kaplan Archives. Won the North African Middleweight Title in September 1927. This was probably his most significant win in the ring. Apparently became a trainer after his boxing career ended. Helped train Algerian Lightweight Champion Robert Safrani.
