Martin Rogan came to boxing late; previously he had been a Gaelic Football player. A Belfast cab driver, he rose to fame when, in 2008 he became the first winner of Matchroom's Prizefighter series. On the back of that success he became a regular on the UK heavyweight scene and claimed the Commonwealth title a year later. [1]
