Hernando Molyneaux won two New York Golden Gloves Championships. Molyneaux won both the 1971 and 1972 175lb Open titles. In 1971 Molyneaux knocked out Manuel Collazo in the second round in the finals and in 1972 he stopped(RSC) Alexander Edwards in the second round to win the title. He also won the National AAU Title at 178 pounds with a decision vs. Louis Slaughter. Molyneaux trained at the Wagner Center.
