Tyler challenged Krzysztof Golanski 4-0 in July of 1985 as a 26yr. old, boxing for the Mid-West USA Middleweight belt, coming into the bout with a record of 6-2-2
Toby Tyler lost a decision in that bout and continued on with his career, losing 6 of his next 7 bouts and retired in 1990.
