Obituary

ELLIS MARION GALLIER, 87, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2002. He was born Anahuac, Texas to Marion and Rosalie Gallier. Mr. Gallier devoted forty years to the Boys Club where he taught boxing and two of his students went on to compete in the Olympics. Ellis was a minister with the Salvation Army, one of the founding members of Boys Haven in Beaumont and gave his life to God and the youth of America. Mr. Gallier's family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Beechnut Manor and to Dr. Jafar. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary Frances Gallier, sister-in-law, Juanita Huff and husband Riley, nephews, Joe Gallier, Marion Gallier, Ronnie Huff, nieces, Laura Frances Anderson and Mary Ann Huff. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 1, 2002 at Westbury Baptist Church, 10425 Hillcroft, Houston, Texas.
