"Indianapolis, IN--March 8, 1933 (AP) Monte Munn, member of an athletically famous family of Nebraska, died here today of heart disease at the age of 32. He had been ill only a few days.

Like his brothers, he was a star in football, baseball and on the track while a student at the University of Nebraska, from which he graduated in 1922. Later, he was in turn a professional boxer, from which he retired in 1928, a member of the Legislature of his native state, a lawyer and a businessman. He had been in the coal business in Indianapolis since 1930. He was an unsuccessful Republican candidate for the Indiana senate in November."
