Originally based out of Spokane, WA, USA, during the early 1930s, Will Maylon moved to Tacoma, WA, to take over promotional duties from George Shanklin in 1937. He continued to promote shows in Tacoma until well into the 1940s.
Maylon was involved in the theatre, after serving in the Army during World War I. Maylon would tour the United States as an actor, before forming his own stock company in the early 1920s, and coming to the Pacific Northwest. Maylon's theatre group had a nine-year run in Spokane, before moving to Tacoma for three seasons at the old Heilig Theater.
Maylon entered real estate around 1932, and was known as one of the leading salesman of real estate properties on the Pacific Coast.
