Mickey Demos was born Menelaos Demos. He was an outstanding boxer at the University of Miami in the late 1940s and 1950s. He graduated from UM medical school in 1963 as a urologist. In 1986, he graduated from UM law school.
Demos died at age 84 on January 19, 2015, and was buried in Gythio, Greece.
