Andy Nance, born in London, England in 1962 came to the United States in 1973. Started boxing at age 12 and went on to win numerous amateur boxing titles, including the Jr. Olympics and 4 Golden Gloves Championships. Turned Professional in 1982, went on to win 24 fights, 1 loss, 2 draws and 14 wins by KO. He was the California State Champion, ranked #1 in the WBC Continental Americas, #6 in the world by Ring Magazine and #2 in the world by the IBF. During his boxing career he attended San Francisco State University where he received a Bachelors Degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology. He worked as a Real Estate agent in Marin County for 22 years before returning to boxing. He currently is a Booking Agent, making boxing matches, working for various promoters around the country.
