Thomas Tsatas
Thomas Tsatas is the current promoter of Fres Oquendo. He managed Fres Oquendo from 2005-2013. Tom has been instrumental in procuring the WBC, WBO, WBA Latino Heavyweight titles and the NABA and USBA Heavyweight titles for Fres as well as getting him to the number one heavyweight in the world. In September 2010 Tom Tsatas, along with Angelo Dundee, and Dino Spencer re-opened the World Famous 5th Street Gym in its original location at 555 Washington, Miami Beach, Florida at the corner of 5th and Washington. The gym currently is at 1019 5th St. Tom has been promoting sporting events and boxing events for over 20 years. Tom Tsatas resides in Chicago IL, and Miami Beach Florida. He currently is promoting Oquendo vs Charr for the WBA Regular Heavyweight Championship, which set to take place in Chicago sometime this spring. Tsatas won the purse bid with POW Sports Entertainment INC.February 2018 with a bid of $600,000. The opposing bid was $101,000.
