Anthony Holt won the 1982 New York Golden Gloves 165lb Open Championship. Holt defeated Anthony Gordon of the New York City Recreation in the finals to win the Championship. In 1980 Holt advanced to the finals of the 165lb Open Championship and was defeated by Michael Martinez of the Lunar Boys Club. Holt trained at the Bedford-Stuy Boys Association.
