Oliver Kirk of the United States is the only boxer to capture two Olympic Gold Medals at the same Olympics, pulling off the feat in the 1904 Olympic Games. Kirk stopped George Finnegan in the 3rd round, to win the Gold Medal in the Bantamweight class (52.16 kg / 115 lb). He also decisioned Frank Haller to win the Gold Medal in the Featherweight class (56.7 kg / 125 lb).
It should be noted that Kirk only had to win two fights to capture his two gold medals since there were only two boxers in the Bantamweight class, and three in the Featherweight class, with Kirk earning the bye in the Featherweight class.
