Irish Billy Walker enlisted in the Navy January, 1941 and served until June 16, 1945. He was stationed at Pearl Harbor on the infamous day of December 7, 1941. During the attack he was working on the docks. Later he served as a gunner aboard a small cargo vessel that delivered critical supplies to Island bases in the Pacific.
