Pearce was billed as "Arcade Pierce" and "Arcade Pearce", before acquiring the "Windmill" moniker in the late 1930s. Pearce who frequently fought on mixed boxing/wrestling cards in Provo, was an occassional wrestler himself in Utah and Idaho.
