- Gabriel (Bibi) Burah was a Holocaust and concentration camp survivor during World War 2. He was also a prisoner at the infamous Auschwitz death camp and apparently was there with fellow boxer Victor (Young) Perez. It is not clear at this time if he was forced into the same type of boxing matches that Perez was forced into. French national Flyweight Champion in 1941-42. Arrested and deported to Auschwitz sometime in 1942.
