Billy Smadja

Smadja began boxing sometime in 1922 or 1923 as a member of Club Maccabi in Tunis, Tunisia. Trained by famed Tunisian boxing mentor Joe Guez--Smadja was part of a stable that included Victor (Young) Perez, his brother Benjamin (Kid) Perez and Edmund Zerbib. Linked record should be considered to be very incomplete. Smadja became a manager after he retired from boxing. Tunisian bantamweight Kid Andre was one of his fighters. Became a manager after his boxing career ended.
