Tim Callahan was a red-haired boxer who started his career around 1922 in Seattle, Washington.
After a few preliminaries, he headed to the East Coast to fight.
He returned to the West Coast, where he had bouts with Jack Silver at San Francisco and Los Angeles, then returned to fight in the Seattle area, at one point defeating the sensational Freddie Mack, "Pride of the Northwest."
Described as a tall, lanky fellow with a good left and an evasive style.
According to the March 17, 1926 SEATTLE DAILY TIMES, he had been schooled in the St. Paul, MN, boxing school founded by Mike and Tom Gibbons.
