Lev Mukhin (born: 1936 in Konstantinovsk, Rostov Oblast, USSR - died: 1977) of the Soviet Union earned the silver medal in the Heavyweight class at the 1956 Melbourne Olympiad, losing by RSC-1 (2:27), to Pete Rademacher of the United States. Rademacher would score three knockdowns, before the bout was stopped. Coming into the final, Mukhin had stopped all three of his opponents.
