Frankie Wallace, "The Fighting Chee-Chee," was born in Italy but fought out of Cleveland, Ohio, at 126 pounds.
According to a record published in IBRO Journal Issue No. 18, pp. 40-42, he won 81 bouts and lost seven as an amateur, winning the Junior Bantamweight Title in 1929 at Boston and the 1930 International Bantamweight Title in Chicago. He turned pro in August 1930, eventually amassing a record, according to that IBRO record, of 131 total bouts (46WD, 44LD, 9D, 19KOs, 13KOby). He died of a heart attack at his home in Colinwood, Ohio.
