Alexander Yagubkin is a former Soviet amateur boxer, who was the World Amateur Heavyweight champion in 1982 held in Munich. Yagubkin later boxed as a Super heavyweight and was the silver medalist at the 1987 European championships in Turin, Italy; losing in the final to East German Ulli Kaden.

Yagubkin was honoured as a Master of Sports of the USSR.
