Bout Summary
Both fighters fought at close range on the inside. Huck landed a lot of big combinations to the head and body, and Afolabi countered back with effective left jabs. Huck appeared to land more combinations when he backed Afolabi up on the ropes. When Afolabi fought while moving, he made Huck miss many punches. It appeared Huck just won this bout by outworking Afolabi in the second half of the bout, landing more often while Afolabi looked to land 'one big punch' but could not do so. Originally announced on the German telecast as a split decision win for Huck, but both 115-113 cards were for Huck, though, and this announcement was incorrect. Afolabi earned $175,000 for the fight.
