Talk:Eduard Hrabak
Iam really pleased to find this site.I am Eduard Hrabak's daughter living in Chelmsford England.Dad fought in the Czech army and came to England from France. He lost an eye during the war and was nursed by a Red cross nurse,Doris who became his wife, my mother. They returned to Prague after the war only to return to England in 1948. Dad could no longer box and trained as a physiotherapist working for many years with children suffering from cerebal palsy. He remained physically fit but died at the age of 84 after battling against Alzheimers disease. He was nursed by his wife, Doris who is still alive aged 92. He is buried at Brookwood cemetry along side other Czech soldiers and airmen. We have two scrap books of Dad's boxing career featuring him with Marcel Cerdan,Locatelli and Hubert ,these being our only record of his boxing years.I would be happy to hear from any other sources of information about his boxing life and would love any film clips which may exist.
