- Dana Rosenblatt was down in round three. Both were cut over the right eye. Pazienza infrequently tried to charge in, while Rosenblatt continually counter punched. ESPN reported the blows as Rosenblatt 106/456 23%, Pazienza 84/602 14%. In a post-bout interview, Rosenblatt tearfully thanked all who had supported him for so long. He had just avenged his only loss.
