In Nordstrandhallen, Oslo, Norwegian heavyweight Bjarne Lingaas
outpointed German Kurt Stroer (4-7-3) over 6 rounds. It was a dull fight
between two upright boxers who only threw left jabs. The Norwegian
tired a little in the last round but won clearly.
