"Brian London of England staged a sensational comeback Tuesday night by knocking out American Pete Rademacher in the 7th round at Wembley Pool. The knockout came at 15 seconds of the 7th round after London had dropped the American with a terrific left hook to the body. It was the third time Pete was on the floor in the fight. London sent Rademacher to the canvas twice in the 6th round. A straight right to the jaw tumbled Pete for a count of seven. Then a combination of punches to body and head sent him down the second time just as the bell ended the round. The 10,000 spectators, who had figured on an easy Rademacher victory, were on their feet in the 6th and 7th rounds - roaring cheers for London." -United Press International

*Rademacher was a 3-1 favorite going into this bout due to having won five straight, and London considered washed up by the press after three straight losses.
