	In November 2020 Tris Dixon interviewed Brian Schumacher in his podcast series 'Boxing Life Stories'. Brian served in the Royal Navy as a mine clearance diver and he served in the Falklands. He boxed for the Royal Navy. Brian mentioned he has served almost 23 years in prison. He was jailed for killing his mothers partner which he was originally given a 15 year sentence that was reduced to 13 years, however he was recalled to prison for bad behaviour so has served longer.
