Shipes kept his aggressive foe off balance with a sharp left jab and quick rights to the head. When Heilman fought his way into close quarters, where he's the most destructive, Shipes neatly tied him up. However, the 2nd round was almost the final one. Two big Heilman rights exploded off Charley's face and his knees buckled. But he kept both his balance and his poise and fought back strongly.
