			==Biography==

			Born in Guarujá (SP), on May 11, 1961, Claudemir Carvalho Dias was discovered for the boxing world at the age of 15, by coach [[Aelio Mesquita]].

			It was during a street fight, and at a time that according to Cláudemir things were solved in the 'hand', who had the opportunity to start the training in the district of Vicente de Carvalho, in his hometown.

			Training while still young was very important for the beginning of his career in Brazilian amateur boxing.

			In addition to the good teachings of Aelio, the training group was very competitive and even counted on the presence of the boxer Carlos Antunes, who will later represent Brazil at the 1980 Moscow Olympics.

			By amateur boxing in the flies category, Claudemir was champion of São Paulo, Brazilian and South American, arriving to dispute assaults in Mexico and Portugal.

			These achievements credited him to represent Brazil in the Pan-American Games, Venezuela, in 1983, where he won the category Bronze. The non-summoning of the 1986 Olympics in Los Angeles made Claudemir look for professionalization.

			At 26 years old, already in the professional, had the great opportunity and also the great disappointment of his life as a boxer.

			He disputed in Salvador, on a Sunday of December, the belt of the category flies by the World Boxing Association, against the Panamanian [[Hilario Zapata]].

			The victory would give him beyond the belt, a good amount of money, but Claudemir was no match for the champion of the season.

			He arrived at a certain point in his career, which was without support for the practice of sports in Brazil.

			That was when he had the opportunity to make minor fights, but with good awards, in the United States.

			Encouraged and sponsored by José Salomom Altstur, known as Pepe Altstut, and responsible for some ventures in Santos as the Ecumenical Necropolis Memorial, he went to Uncle Sam's land, where he lived for two years in California before returning to the country.

			Already in Brazil and about to retire, he received the coup that shortened the path to the end of his career.

			Got involved in a bar brawl where he almost lost his life after one of the involved hit him in full with a parallelepiped in his jaw.

			After that he decided to leave the sport for good.
