I raised three daughters while working a full-time job—and still managed to pursue boxing with only 4 to 5 hours of sleep each night. Despite the odds, I took the belt from then-champion Ricardo Medina and defended it three more times.

What began as self-defense grew into a passion. I realized early on that God had gifted me with a special talent, and I chased my dream of becoming a champion.
