Johnson was given another low level, 3-7 journeyman to knock over before fighting 12-1 prospect [[Milton Guest]]. Johnson was stopped in 5 rounds effectively ending his career at a decent level. Johnson returned with two more wins in 1983 and 1984, his final win being a stoppage in Australia.
