Stallings, of Freeport, NY, earned the decision on all three cards by a 6-4 count. Shavers, of Warren, Ohio, went into the fight at MSG's Felt Forum with a history of knockout victories. But it was not to be Monday night as Shavers seemed confused by Stallings' constant movement. Stallings took the fight to Shavers, who was forced to counter-punch, a tactic that had him missing numerous punches. Shavers did shake up stallings in the 7th round with hooks to the body and head.
