Bell, who had given Anton a hard struggle most of the way, was knocked through the ropes and onto the ring apron shortly after the last round started and appeared helpless after he regained his feet at the count of five. A left hook to the jaw floored Bell for a two count in the first, but he was given a compulsory eight toll.
