Neely was consistently over-reaching Belmores, swinging hard but missing his quick-footed contender. Although Neely kept the action coming with lots of punches, his weakness could not be denied in the second round -- when he kept dropping his left hand, allowing a hole for Belmores to sneak in solid right hooks that repeatedly dropped Neely to his knees. In the end, it was the right hooks that won this fight for Belmores.
