According to the ''Los Angeles Times'', Fontaine started out strong, but began to weaken in the 5th round. Arizmendi landed a sweeping right to Fontaine's jaw in the 7th round that sent him down to one knee. Fontaine rose without a count. As he tired later in the bout, Fontaine resorted to headbutting, getting admonishment from the referee, and hurting Arizmendi with one in the 9th round. This was considered an upset win for Arizmendi.</div>Matt
