	In the main event of a televised fight card on American Spanish television, WBC # 1 ranked Urbano Antillon (25-0, 18 kayos) scored a fourth round kayo over Juan Ramon Cruz of Puerto Rico (15-6-1, 2 kayos) at the lightweight limit, both fighters at 135. Antillon dropped Cruz twice going into the fourth round, when a right-left combination from Antillon dropped Cruz on one knee where he took the ten count at 1:35, the left landing while Cruz was on the way down. Both Antillon and Cruz appeared in excellent physical condition, but Antillon landed alot of heavy left and right hooks to the head of Cruz, who took alot of punishment. Cruz landed some effective counter jabs and uppercuts on the inside, but was unable to cope with Antillon's power punches. A left hook to the body dropped Cruz in the third, and he hung on to survive the third, but couldn't survive trading blows with Antillon in the fourth. First time in 22 professional bouts that Cruz was counted out. Scheduled for ten.
