New page

New London's The Day noted that the fight was a sloppy affair with little science involved. Hollandersky used left and right jabs to the kidneys. Clinching was employed frequently according to the article. Hollandersky, and possibly Falvey as well had wrestled in New London which may have accounted for the lack of scientific boxing in the bout. Both men had boxed for several years, but had very demanding boxing schedules and may have been too fatigued to show proper boxing form.
