* Local Reading super featherweight southpaw Frank Santos De Alba went to 10-1, 4 knockouts, with a fourth round knockout of game but faded Osnel Charles, a Haitian fighting out of Atlantic City. Several knockdowns in the second, third and fourth round seal Charle's fate. De Alba kept hitting Charles with counter rights over the top, as well as some counter lefts. Charles' issue was that he was standing too much in front of De Alba when he should have kept moving left our of harm's range. Charles, now 9-8-1, 1 knockout, had won eight fights in a row, but then won none of his last seven, and did not demonstrate the skills he possessed earlier in his career, though he got off the canvas a number of times and kept trying. Good stoppage when it ended.
