This was considered an upset. According a report in the October 4, 1938 edition of the Brooklyn Eagle, Cavanna scored two knockdowns with righthand punches with Aron getting up without taking a count both times in the first round. After Cavanna continued to have an advantage in the second round, Aron came back to take the third and fifth rounds while one of his eyes was starting to close in the fourth. The sixth was fairly even, but the bout was halted in the seventh to prevent Aron&amp;#039;s badly cut left eye from sustaining permanent damage. Note- This was the first of two stoppage losses that Aron had during his career. During the last bout of his career, Aron was knocked out by Fritzie Zivic in the fifth round in Pittsburgh on September 15, 1941.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
